From Precision Cutting to Advance Colour — Philip Martin’s Education Is Back for 2026

Sharpen your craft with world-class education, right here in South Africa

The best stylists never stop learning. Techniques evolve, trends move fast, and the difference between a good salon and a fully-booked one often comes down to the skill behind the chair.

That’s exactly why Rapple, as the official South African partner for Philip Martin’s, brings the brand’s head educators and guest artists to Johannesburg and Cape Town throughout the year. Our 2026 education programme is packed — precision cutting, advanced colour, styling techniques, men’s work and more — and there are still plenty of dates left to book before year-end.

Here’s everything you need to know.

What a Philip Martin’s workshop looks like

Every session is led by an experienced educator or guest artist and blends product theory with hands-on, practical training you can use the very next day. Expect:

  • A full day of learning, typically 9am to 4pm, with lunch included
  • Small, focused groups — seats are limited on purpose so everyone gets real attention
  • A mix of demonstration and hands-on practice
  • Techniques and product knowledge you can apply immediately to grow client results and confidence

Whether you’re refining your foundations or chasing advanced technical skills, there’s a workshop pitched at your level.

Featured workshop: Precision Cutting with Brett CrawCour — “I AM BRETT”

One of the standout sessions on the calendar is Precision Cutting with guest artist and brand ambassador Brett CrawCour. Across the day you’ll learn how to:

  • Master clean, structured cutting lines
  • Build shape with tension and control
  • Elevate client results through technical excellence
  • Align your craft with luxury-brand standards

It’s education designed to grow the stylist, build confidence and drive success behind the chair. Cost: R950 per ticket, 9am–4pm, lunch included. Seats are limited and booking is essential — the next Precision Cutting date with Brett is 26 October in Johannesburg (see the full calendar below).
